Clarence Mallari has a talent for designing fluid profiles from muscular material. He has done it again with the Janaki Wall Sconce, which is made of wrought iron in a brilliant gold leaf finish. A stylized version of a palm leaves flutter up and away from the backplate on this beautiful gold sconce. A design detail of note is how the one bulb brings a sheen to the backplate, also in a luminous gold.
